Welcome in the Age of Aquarius!

Yesterday a big event climaxed in the night sky: the Great Conjunction.
Since the summer of 2020 Jupiter and Saturn have been approaching each other where their closest proximity of each other (this time less than 0.1 degree apart) happened yesterday, on the 21st of December. So why is this so special?

In astrology this signals for great change and positive uplift. The last time that Jupiter and Saturn were visibly this close to Earth ánd this close to each other was on the 4th of March in the year 1226.
(Please note that they have been similarly this close in July 1623, however due to the fact that they were very close to the sun at that time, the conjunction wasn’t visible).

A Great Conjunction happens around every 20 years or so, but this year the event happened with a minimum of separation between Jupiter and Saturn: less than 0.1 degrees. This is highly rare; the next time this will happen is in 2080 and after that not until 2417!

Furthermore it happens to be that Saturn first entered the sign of Aquarius on March 21, then went retrogade in Capricorn in July (a highly significant time!) and on December 17th returned to Aquarius. Jupiter entered the sign of Aquarius on the 19th of December, and then only 2 days after the Great Conjunction was at its climax. So what does this mean and signifies?

Jupiter is considered to be the bringer of a great feeling of happiness, healing, prosperity, miracles, good fortune and has the opportunity to bring growth and expansion to you if you are willing to allow it. Jupiter has the ability to unify for the greater whole, it keeps you focused on the goals that we have set, with respect to the other parties involved.

When you listen to Jupiter’s advice, you will start to feel the miracles, the happiness etc. and this leads to having faith.
Faith in turn will attract to you the things you need to manifest your dreams and desires, which is called the Law of Attraction.
When you attract these things, your faith becomes stronger because the path you need to take will become enlightened for you, which leads to believing. You are being sure of your path no matter what the outer influence is telling you.
Believing is the most powerful force in the universe besides love.
When you consider this, Jupiter is the theory behind your dreams, it is our intuition.

Then there is Saturn. Saturn is also called the Great Teacher. She who brings us maturity and teaches us patience and sacrifice. This planet makes us aware that we need to deal with reality and not be so “up in the clouds”: we need to be more serious.
Saturn sets rules and discipline to work hard for the dreams that we want to come true.

Aquarius is a fixed air sign. This means that Aquarius wants to root and then bloom. It is sort of set in its way (fixed), but does want to find a route through all of the infinite possibilities (which is airy nature). It is all about the individual being, staying true to your self, get to know yourself on a deeper level. Aquarius is definitely not about compartmentalizing everything; it is about wanting to be you for you (not because of age, gender, colour, sexuality, etc.) without losing sight of the rest of the world.
Aquarius wants change. And to set this change in motion it will come from an angle that you would not expect immidiately.
In the end Aquarius wants to feel free by being yourself and knowing that you have a support system that will have your back, always.

It might feel contradictory at times: the willingness to be free (Aquarius) and enjoy the great happiness (Jupiter) while being restricted with rules, dedication and hard work (Saturn).
Keep in mind that Jupiter would be a loose cannon without the strict Saturn and Aquarius would not be able to make the changes it wants without the dedication to the cause of Saturn.

So when you are able to learn the lessons, dream the dream and have faith, put in the effort and work for your highest potential this will be the best time of your life…
When you combine these three together, you will get a magical complementary combination of assets and talents that will raise your vibration higher and higher for the greater good of yourself and the rest of the world.
